PROJECT DETAILS:
EMPLOYEE DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM-
For
frontend JAVA was used because it provides the necessary cross platform
independence. For backend MS SQL SERVER 2008 was used because it is the most
widely used database management system and can be used with computers in a
network. It is
designed for keeping track of information of employees in an institution.
Facilities included in this system are employee registration, salary
management, attendance marking through
computer and department management.
MUNNAR
TOURISM-
For
frontend purposes PHP is used because it is open source and the most widely
used general purpose scripting language. For backend MySQL was used since it is
an open source. The objective of the system is to create an online site for
Munnar tourism. The three major modules are registration, hotel booking and
social network. After successful online registration each user would be given a
unique user id and user can book hotels. After the journey the user can login
into the site using his ID and can share his views with other people.
MAIN
PROJECT :
BANDWIDTH MONITOR –
This
s/w helps to monitor the bandwidth while using the internet. In this we can set the
limit for the bandwidth and can see the packets coming in. After the limit is exceeded warnings are
generated. Core JAVA is used for frontend purpose & MySQL is used as backend. This s/w can be connected to a LAN and it can
act as a server. All the packets downloaded in the clients can be seen in the
server. Parental controls is also present in this. The stored information is
split into different tables and data is used to prepare a session ,daily and
monthly tables. The usage chart is also generated based on usage. All charts are created by the
class files provided by the JFreeChart.
